- The Production manager is responsible for the employees, machines and methods.
- Member of the functions management team Operative function responsibility to reach tactical targets.
- Ensures staff competence and that work is done according to the agreed procedures and routines.
- Leads and distributes work in the production area.
- Responsible for personnel in areas such as rehabilitation and workforce planning Ensure compliance with all employment, health and safety laws.
- Responsible for all machinery and equipment in his/her production area.
- Responsible for the development of a yearly budget, ongoing expense tracking and cost savings initiatives.
- Actively work with culture change - attitudes, commitments and behaviors of individuals and groups.
- Responsible for specifying requirements on support functions as well as initiating and following up on improvement projects.
- Scopes include: crusher assembly, painting workshop, facility and production equipment.
