About this role
- Manage and develop a sustainable global supplier base according to our strategies.
- Establish and develop long relationships with both key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Cooperate with other Division and BA's procurement organizations to ensure good coordination and communication with common suppliers across BA/Divisions.
- Work in compliance with common processes, systems and tools, and established delegations and matrices.
- Secure and implement appropriate agreements for the category, lead negotiations when applicable.
- Consider functionality, IT, commercial as well as Sandvik general requirements during supplier selection.
- Identify, prepare, propose, manage and lead selected sourcing projects and secure handover of agreements to receiving organization.
- Responsible for implementation, SSCoC, IT Security Annex, Data processing Agreement (DPA) and other mandatory sustainable processes towards the suppliers in scope.
- Monitor global supply markets, interpret market intelligence and develop supplier profiles for strategic and preferred suppliers.
- Responsible for Supplier management within the sub-category/ies (incl. support the onboarding of suppliers).
- Responsible to create, implement and monitor actions to improve performance, sustainability and cost for selected suppliers.
- Recommended 7-10 years from commercial experience. Proven experience from Category driven
- Purchasing, Supply, Production, Sales or Finance. Experience from IT Category is advantage. Proven leader skills from team manager role or category teams minimum 2 years.
