Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Programme Management Office at Velindre Cancer Centre, which is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and efficient Project Administrator.
This Project Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting and providing high quality organisational, project administration to the VCC PMO. This post will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop the necessary skills and competencies to progress with a career in project and programme management.
Main duties of the job
Under the direction of the VCC Programme Manager, the Project Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the effective co-ordination of a range of projects that support the work of the overall VCC PMO.
The post holder will support and provide day-to-day monitoring to facilitate the successful planning and delivery of change work programmes across all service areas within VCC.
Importantly this will include administration of the project files and to help ensure that projects remain on track to produce the required outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and maintain project documentation, report project progress, highlighting issues and exceptions.
We are looking for a proactive self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
