Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) | Shakespeare Walk-in Centre | Full-Time (40) & Part-Time

Are you an experienced ACP ready to practise at the top of your scope in a well-established urgent care service?

Main duties of the job

Shakespeare Walk-in Centre is recruiting a confident, autonomous Advanced Clinical Practitioner to predominantly manage minor injuries presentations, as well as minor illness, across all age groups, including paediatrics. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role within a supportive, clinically led environment.

Additional information:

Working Pattern: 12-hour shifts (08:0020:00) on a 7-day rolling rota.Candidates must be able to work flexibly across these hours.The full-time equivalent is 40 hours per week; however, we can offer contracts of up to 36 hours per week, worked in 12-hour shifts.Please note that the recruitment process for this role is expected to involve two interview stages. Main Duties

Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor illness/injuries Utilise advanced clinical reasoning and independent prescribing skills Identify red flags and escalate appropriately in line with clinical governance Support patient flow in a busy urgent care setting Contribute to a strong culture of safety, quality, and teamwork

Essential Criteria

MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ACP courses at Level 7 including recognised modules in Advanced Physical Assessment Skills, Minor Injuries, Disease Management, etc. Independent / Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) Significant experience in urgent care and/or primary care Confident, autonomous management of minor illness Current NMC registration with no restrictions

Qualifications Essential

Experience Essential

Significant experience in urgent care and/or primary care
