Are you looking to see the impact of your work every day?

As our new Learning and Development Coordinator, you will play a central role in shaping the learning experience of every colleague across Compass. Your drive for change will directly support our mission to deliver outstanding health and wellbeing services to children, young people and families.

Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager, you'll coordinate training programmes, proactively manage learning records and ensure colleagues have access to high quality, and engaging learning. You'll facilitate induction and training sessions and demonstrate a forward role in communication management by working with external providers and support managers. You'll maintain regular contact with services and will proactively monitor training compliance, following up with colleagues to support completion of mandatory and role based learning requirements.

Through confident updates to our HR and ELearning platforms, you will help enhance our learning offer through improved processes and resources. You'll produce clear, meaningful reports that help us identify development needs and make informed decisions.

Your work will be pivotal in creating a confident, capable and well supported workforce that enables Compass to deliver high quality services.

If you want to make a visible contribution to a culture of learning through proactive communication, organisation and co-ordination, this is the perfect next step for you.

Main duties of the job

You have a genuine passion for learning and development and a natural drive to help people grow. You bring empathy, curiosity and strong organisation skills to new challenges, and value accuracy, communication and continuous improvement.

You're confident working with data, comfortable coordinating, facilitating and leading multiple tasks, and you thrive in building positive relationships to create rewarding learning & development opportunities.

You'll need

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience producing reports, monitoring information and knowledge of data management and reporting processes
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 especially Excel
  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships

It might be helpful if you've worked within a learning and development function, supported organisational projects or monitored training compliance, but not essential. Were more interested in your commitment to creating a supportive and effective learning environment.

If you take pride in helping others succeed, enjoy creating order from complexity and value the part learning plays in delivering great services, this could be a rewarding next step for you.
