As a Porter in our Barlborough team you will have fantastic communication skills and plenty of customer service experience to provide safe and efficient transfer of patients and goods around theHospital.

Main duties of the job You will respond to requests for the movement of patients and goods in an appropriate and timely manner to provide a comprehensive and efficient service. This will involve the lifting, transferring, pushing and pulling of substantial weight with the assistance of mechanical aids.
You will be required to assist all departments, all the while providing an excellent patient experience. It would be an advantage if you have worked in acute healthcare before but most important is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.
