Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking motivated and compassionate Band 6 Rotational Midwives to join our maternity team on a fixed-term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of maternity settings within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing safe, personalised and evidence-based care to women and families.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication and a commitment to providing high-quality maternity care in line with Trust values and national standards.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide high-quality midwifery care across maternity services, supporting women and families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period.
The role includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care within a multidisciplinary environment, ensuring safe practice and effective communication at all times.
Posts may include rotational working across maternity areas in line with service requirements, including long days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high clinical standards, supporting service improvement and promoting positive patient experiences.

Skill & Knowledge Essential
Commitment to midwifery practice Commitment to promotion of breast-feeding and support of breast-feeding mothers Proficient in neonatal resuscitation. Knowledge of audit and research. Working knowledge and experience of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults Knowledge of public health/midwifery issues. Up to date professional knowledge / reports / frameworks that impact on provision of Maternity Services.
