Join our Hospice Care at Home Overnight Service as a Healthcare Assistant, supporting patients and families across Bradford, Airedale and surrounding areas.
Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant with Marie Curies Hospice Care at Home Overnight Service, youll provide compassionate one-to-one care and emotional support to patients with a life-limiting illness and their families across Bradford, Airedale and surrounding areas. Working independently in patients homes, youll deliver personal care, monitor symptoms, support with medication, and make a real difference when it matters most.

Hours:Part Time 36 hours, various 9 hour night shifts (10 pm 7 am) available
Salary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC) £25,272 per annum + enhancements (pro rata)
Hourly Rate: £18.22 Saturday and weekday and £23.64 for Sunday and Bank Holiday between the hours of 8pm and 6am

As a Healthcare Assistant with Marie Curie Hospice Care at Home Overnight Service in Bradford, Airedale and surrounding areas, youll support patients and families when they need it most. We provide specialist palliative care for people living with a life-limiting illness, while also offering vital emotional support to those closest to them.
With experience in end of life care, youll be ready to make a meaningful difference through our one-to-one approach, building genuine connections with patients and their families, usually in their own homes. Working independently and using your initiative within established care plans, youll deliver a range of care duties including personal care, symptom monitoring, medication support, accurate record keeping, and compassionate emotional support for both patients and families.
