About this role
Job summary
In line with the governments drive to increase GPs, we are looking to expand our existing GP workforce as well as succession planning for the future for the right candidate.
4-6 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job
We enjoy the benefits of a GP triage system with our wonderful Reception team who are fantastic at signposting to the many resources available to them. We have low home visiting rates and non-onerous duty surgeries along with much higher levels of clinician autonomy for the working day than strict appointment-based systems. This allows us to meet daily in a convivial, nurturing, learning and coffee-fuelled safe space. And we can walk to Waitrose for lunch!
About us
We are a happy and supportive 12k patient Practice in both a central Bath Georgian listed townhouse, and a purpose-built modern branch in Bathampton. We are proud to be a successful GP training Practice, and our friendly GPs are ably assisted by our experienced prescribing ANPs, Paramedic (to support acute same day access), and a full complementary team of clinical and support staff. We offer capped duty clinics to ensure the clinical team are not overwhelmed with endless capacity. We have embedded twin pharmacy businesses and a dental practice all of whom we enjoy close cooperation with. We operate modified GP telephone triage using TPP SystmOne in a paper light environment with excellent IT provision and support.
