- Survey & Mapping/Geospatial | DRMP Your growth matters: See why Careers | DRMP Load truck with the necessary equipment and supplies that are needed throughout the day.
- Transport and set up the instruments/equipment and prepare the job site for the survey.
- Clear brush and trees away from the survey line.
- Hold the prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points.
- Measure how far different points are from each other, using tape or electronic equipment; Help with the various pieces of survey equipment.
- Have familiarity/working knowledge of survey equipment.
- Operate the surveying equipment with the supervisor's oversight.
