We are delighted to be able to offer an opportunity for a part-time, 24-hour post for a Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our home and contribute to, and enhance, our existing nursing team. This is a unique opportunity for any Learning Disability Nurse not only to join a unique service within the Trust's portfolio, but also to develop their clinical portfolio of skills.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, Deputy Managers, Learning Disability Nurses, Adult Nurses, and with support from the multidisciplinary team, you will help to enhance the lives of people with profound learning disabilities and associated complex healthcare needs.

Main duties of the job

  • As part of the clinical team, the working hours are 07:00 to 19:30, with night shifts being 19:00 to 07:30. There is an expectation that you are able and available to work both shift patterns, including unsocial hours, to maintain an overview of residents' clinical needs during both the day and night.
  • We will consider flexible working arrangements to support both you and the home.
  • There is a wealth of training available to support you in delivering high-quality clinical nursing care, enabling residents to live a life that is well lived and loved, while taking into account their complex care needs.
