As a Speech and Language Therapist you will be:
- Demonstrating specialist skills in dealing with complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and to generate appropriate strategies for caseload management.
- Undertaking audits and contributing to research in the provision of treatments.
- Specialist knowledge in the areas of mental health and LD&A
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- HCPC registration
- Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia
- Experience of working with families
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development
Where you will be working
- Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN
- You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, which is a large purpose-built medium-secure service with good facilities.
- Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide care and support for adult men 18+ with a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge.
- Farmfield is located North West of Gatwick airport near the village of Hookwood, It is easiest to reach the site by car.
