We are looking for a Ward Manager (RMN or RNLD) to join our team at Cygnet Taunton.

Cygnet Hospital Taunton provides acute inpatient admissions service for men and women and a specialist inpatient service for men diagnosed with a learning disability.

Your day-to-day

Youll be working 40 hours a week in Acute Mental Health with adult males.

£61,590 per year

Provide suggestions, proposals & recommendations to the Hospital Manager aimed at the continued development of the ward Contribute & participate in planned visits to the ward by professional visitors Initiate & maintain a monitoring system in relation to professional nursing practice at unit level, including pin numbers & the current registration of all qualified staff Ensure that the evaluation of service delivery is user (i.e. patient, carer & family) based Advise non-clinical staff within the hospital on management of patients with mental illness Ensure patients rights to confidentiality are respected & that Cygnet Health Care & professional policies are adhered to.You are

Committed to delivering improvement strategies across all aspects of clinical service provision Familiar with an in-patient setting Experienced in managing change, leadership initiatives, motivating & developing others Open, compassionate, honest & resilient Capable of undertaking audits, developing, following-up & ensuring completion of action plans Well-informed of the Mental Health Act & the latest nursing practices Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk.Why Cygnet?
