If so, there we have two fantastic opportunities to join our Eating Disorder Service. Both positions are full time, one permanent and the other is a 16 month secondment or fixed term contract.
The Eating Disorders Team is a countywide service that provides clinical management and therapeutic interventions for people with eating disorders across Worcestershire.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse, OT or Social worker who has the knowledge and skills relevant for the role. The position involves working closely within our multi-disciplinary team and working within NICE guideline standards. The role will involve triaging referrals and completing initial assessments and therapeutic interventions; training relating to assessing within the speciality of eating disorders will be provided. Experience working in eating disorders is desired but not essential.
This is a full time post
The second post is a fixed term post to provide cover for absence for specific purpose that we anticipate will be required for 18 months. We reserve the right to end this contract sooner with appropriate notice
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth and effective implementation of evidence-based therapy for our client group.
The post holder will be required to work collaboratively with the key partner organisations, patients, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary teams.
Applicants will need to have a genuine interest in working within eating disorder services. The post holder will have a clinical caseload and support with assessments of new referrals.
The service is county wide with two bases Hill Crest and Studdert Kennedy House. There is some ability to work from home however the successful candidates will need to be able to meet the travel requirements of the role.

Skills and Abilities Essential
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats Ability to meet the travel requirements for this role.

Experience Essential
2 years post registration experience relevant to Mental Health Experience in providing psychological interventions to individuals with mental health problems Participation in multidisciplinary/ multi-agency working Experience of liaison with Consultant Psychiatrists, GPs and other professionals

Qualifications Essential
