- Education ITI – Fitter Trade Engineering Industry, preferably in Machine Tool Manufacturing Job Summary Machine sub-assembly, Machine assembly, Machine Installation at Customer Site Desired skills and Experience: Should have 6 to 8 years of hands on experience for ITIs candidates in sub-assembly, assembly of Special Purpose Machines, VTLs, Tool & Cutter Grinders.
- Basic knowledge & exposure to Machine Sub-assemblies like Spindle, Slide, Column, Feed drive, Rotary tables, Gear boxes, work handling etc., Hands on scrapping experience Ability to understand part drawings, assembly drawings & machine layout Knowledge of Geometrical accuracies like straightness, squareness, concentricity, TIR, parallelism, measuring instruments etc., Basic knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics , Coolant systems & circuits Basic knowledge of drills, taps, size selection- Metric & BSP, etc., Fundamentals of Safety & PPE Basic communication skills – Kannada.
