Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised nuclear medicine research data manager and co-ordinator who can effectively deal with the busy demands of an active research imaging department. Our team is multidisciplinary, and you will be working alongside professors, clinical fellows, senior research associates, PhD students to name but a few! We are a world-renowned nuclear medicine team and ardently uphold the trust's strategy of "delivering world leading research and innovation". We need a robust data manager and co-ordinator to help deliver an efficient nuclear medicine research portfolio.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will ensure that the department delivers a high-quality research portfolio from a data management and co-ordination perspective. This includes grant applications, regulatory applications, trial document completion, research activity invoicing/billing, local meeting agendas and minutes.
The role will demand effective communications within a multidisciplinary team, ability to prioritise workload, compliant with time dependent deadlines. The successful individual will require to have a flexible approach to workload to support the UCLH Institute of Nuclear Medicine's broad research portfolios. You will work closely with the academic lead and research manager to ensure the smooth running of the research activities within the Institute of Nuclear Medicine.

Provide concise and timely meeting agendas and minutes. Maintain Investigator Site Files (ISFs), ensuring all essential documents are filed contemporaneously. Upload data to the Data Safe Haven (RedCap), the Nuclear Medicine JIRA software platform and our EDGE research management system. Be responsible for filing results and correspondence in source data files. Work with the research team to prepare and review study documentation in preparation for grant applications, applications for regulatory approvals & Integrated Research Application System (IRAS) applications. Assist in responding to enquiries from clinical trial sponsors, Clinical Research Facility (CRF), Cancer Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU) and other organisations using a shared research NHS mailbox Collect and enter data into electronic or paper Case Report Forms (CRFs) from source data files and medical records, following trial specific instructions for data entry Ensure all data entry complies with legislation and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements. Liaise with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to ensure all outstanding issues and queries are resolved in a timely and efficient manner, with particular attention to data locks. Assist in the development and maintenance of databases as appropriate In combination with the Institute of Nuclear Medicine (INM) research team, design source worksheets for studies supported by nuclear medicine, and ensure effect management of their generation and quality control Assist with archiving of trials once they have closed, following up with sponsor for missing documentation Assist with keeping the INM shared drive up to date. Make changes to the shared drive structure as instructed by the Research Manager and General Manager.
