About this role

Honeywell Technologies is a global, pure-play automation company with a legacy of innovating to help solve the world’s most mission-critical challenges, enhancing the quality of life for people and communities around the world. We serve the building, industrial and process sectors with a broad portfolio of services, solutions and products, underpinned by our Honeywell Technologies Accelerator operating system and Honeywell Technologies Forge intelligence layer. By combining the deep domain expertise of our more than 50,000 employees with decades of data from our global installed base, we are uniquely positioned to lead the industrial sector’s transition from automation to autonomy.

Honeywell Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) combines proven liquefaction technology with decades of equipment design, manufacturing, and operating experience. Our engineering teams design efficient, customizable, and sustainable solutions that help customers liquefy natural gas and move energy more effectively to end users around the world.

Based at Honeywell LNG headquarters in Allentown, PA working on a hybrid work schedule, you will join the Manufacturing & Design Engineering organization and report to the MDE Director. In this highly visible role, you will connect engineering, commercial, supplier, and project teams to create the technical frameworks that keep LNG offerings aligned, executable, and protected.

You will own the tools and technical content that translate our design approach into strong customer contracts and actionable supplier requirements. Your work will improve consistency across bids, projects in execution, and Aftermarket Services offerings while reducing ambiguity, protecting Honeywell intellectual property, and helping technical teams move faster with confidence.

The position will require occasional domestic and international travel to other Honeywell sites, supplier locations, and customer locations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and continuously improve standardized technical exhibits for customer contracts, giving every opportunity a strong starting point grounded in current LNG design practices.
  • Develop reusable technical requisition packages for suppliers and vendors covering modules, cold boxes, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, valves, control systems, instrumentation, third-party design support, and other purchased scope.
  • Connect customer commitments, the internal design basis, and supplier purchase orders so technical requirements remain clear, consistent, and traceable throughout each project.
  • Lead the evolution of LNG’s technical knowledge architecture, including specifications, standards, workflows, calculation templates, design methods, manufacturing guidance, industrial references, and intellectual property.
  • Partner with engineering disciplines to keep technical content current, incorporate lessons learned, and embed approved design-basis changes into reusable deliverables.
  • Support project planning and execution strategies by identifying project-specific customer, regulatory, and industry requirements and helping LNG disciplines apply them accurately.
  • Align Honeywell LNG technical requirements and offerings with adjacent Honeywell Gas and LNG end-to-end capabilities, including pretreatment, controls, and machinery.
  • Coordinate technical questions and close gaps in design-basis or contractual documents, driving issues to practical, timely resolution.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering or technical project execution.
  • Demonstrated understanding of gas and energy industry plant design, technical offerings, and project scope.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional technical inquiries and drive gaps in LNG design-basis or contractual documents to resolution.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple urgent priorities through completion.
  • Excellent technical and contractual writing skills.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • You are naturally curious and energized by resolving gaps in technical understanding.
  • You build trust across commercial and engineering disciplines and bring diverse contributors toward a clear outcome.
  • You work efficiently in a dynamic environment, maintain momentum across competing priorities, and communicate risks early.
