Job summary
To provide a high-quality administration service to the Pre-assessment department. To serve and support all patients attending for an appointment, providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the pre-assessment nurses with day-to-day tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the service.
Main duties of the job
Provide prompt, efficient reception service to patients, visitors and staff.
Ensure effective communication and information flows both internally and externally.
Ensuring all information and patient's notes are available to the nurses for clinic.
To arrange interpretation services for any relevant appointments.
To gather information for team members from other teams and agencies as required.
Contribute to delivering a high quality, efficient and effective service by complying with all relevant policies and procedures.
Ability to work under pressure.
Attending and booking of patient's appointments for their clinic attendance within pre-assessment.
Ensure clinic outcomes are recorded correctly within Careflow.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Opening clinics as requested by senior pre-assessment team.
