What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll help build large-scale water treatment equipment from the ground up in a clean, team-oriented shop environment. Every day brings variety as you work on custom assemblies, system builds, and equipment installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble custom water treatment systems and equipment using hand and power tools
- Build mechanical sub-assemblies, enclosures, and complete systems
- Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure quality builds
- Assist with control panel assembly and basic wiring
- Measure, fit, and install components accurately
- Inspect your work to ensure quality and reliability
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and a desire to work with your hands
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints or mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Manufacturing, construction, or shop experience
- Control panel wiring or electrical assembly experience
- Experience building equipment, machinery, or enclosures

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hamel, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
