Description
Develop civil and traffic engineering design plans for transportation, roadway, and transit infrastructure projects.
Prepare traffic control designs, including Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT), Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC), construction staging, detour plans, signing, striping, pavement markings, and signal improvements.
Prepare engineering drawings, design sketches, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
Support roadway and intersection design, traffic impact studies, feasibility assessments, intersection capacity analyses, and access/circulation studies.
Develop and modify design packages using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Review engineering drawings, contractor submittals, RFIs, design markups, and construction documents.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, multidisciplinary design teams, clients, and public agency stakeholders.
Conduct site visits and field investigations to document existing roadway and traffic conditions.
Ensure designs comply with applicable agency standards, project specifications, and design requirements.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
