Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the newly established Assurance Team at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Trust in maintaining high standards of water quality across our hospital and community sites. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone keen to develop new skills and build a rewarding career within the NHS.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Assurance Team, you will play an important role in supporting the Trust's water quality assurance processes. The post focuses on promoting best practice in statutory compliance and helping to ensure our hospitals and community sites continue to meet the highest standards of safety, quality and legal compliance.
This is a varied and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to work across multiple sites while contributing to the delivery of safe environments for patients, visitors and staff.

Job description Job responsibilities
As a mobile member of the Assurance Team, you will work across all three hospital sites:
Frimley Park Hospital Heatherwood Hospital Wexham Park Hospital Your base site will be Frimley Park Hospital; however, regular travel between sites will be required as part of the role. Trust transport will be provided for sample delivery and when undertaking duties at other locations.

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Experience arranging for water isolations and repair work. Good fault-finding experience. Experience within a maintenance environment.
Desirable
Experience of working within large commercial / industrial environment H&S Qualification
Skills & Knowledge Essential
Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team Strong time management and organisational skills Good communication skills Ability to cope with demanding scenarios Driven by achieving a high level of customer satisfaction. Able to work to tight deadlines
Desirable
Understanding of the healthcare environment Knowledge of mechanical systems How to maintain hot and cold-water systems
Qualifications Essential
Mechanical qualification Educated to GCSE level, including English and Mathematics at grade C or above or equivalent.
Desirable
Recognised trade apprenticeship Knowledge of WRAS, City & Guilds or ONC/HNC in mechanical discipline Evidence of continued development.
Special requirements Essential
Can travel to other sites with tools or equipment
