Job summary
C21 is an Acute Stroke Ward providing specialist care for patients who have experienced a stroke. The ward has 39 beds in total, along with one dedicated stroke assessment room. This includes 12 Hyper-Acute Stroke beds and 27 Acute Stroke beds. Our multidisciplinary team delivers high-quality acute care, early rehabilitation, and ongoing support to help patients recover and regain independence. We work closely with therapists, consultants, and community services to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care throughout the stroke pathway.
Main duties of the job
To be professionally accountable and maintain the standards of professional practice as set by the appropriate regulatory body applicable to your profession or role.
In a supervisory role utilise supervision of clinical practice, clinical audit, research, and teaching, to set, monitor and improve standards of care in addition to efficient and effective use of resources.
