- If you enjoy bringing structure to a business, managing a varied workload and taking responsibility for keeping operations running smoothly, this could be an excellent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of office administration, business support systems and operational processes.
- Coordinate training, competency records and bookings, subcontractor compliance, insurance documentation and PQQ reviews.
- Manage employee onboarding, inductions and offboarding, ensuring records and actions are kept up to date.
- Maintain business systems and ensure information is accurate, accessible and well organised.
- Support health and safety administration, including incident records, audits and communications.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings, reports, dashboards and management information.
- Coordinate diaries, shared mailboxes, travel, accommodation, company assets, workwear and office and site supplies.
- Support the company's business profile through social media updates and maintaining its online capability document.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline administration and introduce consistent ways of working.
About You
- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in office management, business support or administration.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently and take ownership.
- An understanding of compliance, document control and record management.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with colleagues and external contacts at all levels.
- A high level of accuracy, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine interest in improving business processes.
- Experience within the construction sector would be highly advantageous, particularly in relation to project documentation, subcontractor compliance and health and safety administration.
- Construction related background or knowledge a distinct advantage
Salary & Working Arrangements

- Full-time, permanent position.
- Initially based between a Sheffield city centre office and home.
- Permanent office location to be established in either Rotherham or Doncaster.
- The business is currently in the process of establishing its new office, which will become the successful candidate's permanent working location.
