Job Description
- Lead product quality assurance activities, including inspection, testing, verification and compliance checks.
- Investigate product defects, customer complaints and reliability issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Support the introduction of new products by helping teams identify potential risks and establish effective quality processes.
- Produce and maintain quality reports, records and procedures, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Quality Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- A background in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a similar technical role, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, SPC, APQP, PPAP and FMEA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, with the ability to challenge existing processes and make evidence-based recommendation
