About this role
Summary
We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to help turn our growth ambitions into practical action. This is not a traditional project management role. You'll work across business change, delivery and organisational improvement, partnering with a range of people to bring structure, momentum and clear direction to some of the National Trust's key growth priorities.
What it's like to work here
You'll work with people across different teams to build a shared understanding of priorities, challenges and opportunities. You'll help teams turn ideas into achievable plans and results, making sure their work supports wider organisational goals.
You'll support a range of important projects and programmes, helping teams manage competing priorities, identify risks, and keep work moving forward. Working closely with project and programme leads, you'll help turn strategic goals into practical plans, ensuring people have the information, support and direction they need to make progress and deliver successful outcomes.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with senior leaders, project sponsors and delivery leads to provide practical support, encourage informed decision-making, and help teams stay focused on delivering results. You'll be confident working in situations where there isn't always a clear answer, helping to bring clarity, organise priorities and build positive working relationships with a wide range of people.
You’ll play an important part in helping the Financial Growth Portfolio achieve its goals. You'll support teams to work together effectively, keep activities aligned, and ensure progress is coordinated across related projects and programmes.
You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role.
