About this role
Inchicore Community Creche & Afterschool, locate at Tyrconnell Road, Dublin 8, Inchicore is seeking a Playworker to join the team. Main Duties and Responsibilities:•
- Supervises children’s games and encourages the development
- Provides play areas and prepares materials for a wide range
- Encourages children’s independence, self-confidence and
- Organises and supervises children on excursions;
- Organises and supervises children’s activities in accordance
- Puts away equipment and cleans premises after use;•
- Liaises with parents, carers and colleagues and keeps appropriate records.
Requirements:•
- Applicants must have relevant experience.•
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.•
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and engage positively with children.•
- Good understanding of health and safety and safeguarding responsibilities when working with children.
Job Location: Inchicore Community Creche & Afterschool, Tyrconnell Road, Dublin 8, Inchicore. Hours: 39 hours per weekSalary: €36,605 per annum
