Cowper Care is seeking applications for the role of Healthcare Assistant for its Nursing Homes in Dublin. Cowper Care is only able to interview candidates with EEA passports at this time. The Health Care Assistant will: Maximise the independence of the resident to achieve the highest possible quality of Life. Afford every opportunity to the resident to live and die with dignity. Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to residents, promoting their independence and equality at all timesProvide direct resident care by undertaking personal care tasks e.g. assistance with washing, dressing, bathing, eating, toiletingParticipate in care planning and alert nurses regarding any changes in the physical and mental state of the residentsContribute to the moving and treatment of residents to maximise physical comfortContribute to maintaining a safe environment for the residents, staff and visitorsApplicant RequirementsExperience in a nursing home environment or relevant experience Strong written and spoken EnglishDesirable Criteria: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support
