About this role
The main purpose of the job is to manage the TT Club and ITIC group-wide insurance policies to the benefit of global operations. This can involve liaising with our insurers, insurance brokers, law firms and local teams to ensure that operations maintain appropriate coverage for freight forwarding, ship agency and ad hoc services, as required. The job exists to ensure that operations are aware of the various aspects of group cover and to provide practical advice to operations from the contract negotiations stage through to any potential claims that may arise, inclusive of claims management procedures. The job contributes towards reducing the risk and/or exposure of operations when conducting business by implementing and encouraging business managers to take into account insurance considerations when winning new business or conducting existing business.
