About this role
As a customer service, you are the first point of contact for customers and handle daily services such as order processing, pricing, invoicing, and managing inquiries and orders. You work closely with other departments, both locally and internationally, to ensure a smooth order process. In this full-time position (40 hours per week), you have the chance to grow through various training and career advancement opportunities. You will work partly at the office in Leiden, with the flexibility to work partially from home. This is a permanent position with the prospect of a contract after good performance.
You start your working day by processing incoming customer questions and orders. You answer emails and phone calls, provide advice on products and pricing, and ensure all orders are accurately entered into the ERP system. Throughout the day, you coordinate with colleagues about deliveries, transport, and any complaints. You proactively keep customers informed about the progress and help find solutions to complex issues. You are also responsible for after-sales and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
