Recipes We are looking for a Logistics Administrative Assistant (Packaging) (Full-time 37.5 hours) Pallets, crates and containers may seem like an afterthought, but without the right packaging, our logistics or even our production comes to a standstill. And if records are inaccurate, costs can quickly spiral. As a Logistics Administrative Assistant, you ensure that we know exactly where our packaging is, that balances with customers and suppliers are correct and that there is always enough material available.
Spot a discrepancy? Then you dig into it until you find out what caused it and how to fix it. This position at Verstegen Every day, large numbers of pallets, crates and containers move back and forth between Verstegen, our customers, carriers and various pallet pools. We rent some of them. This means that an incorrect booking or packaging that stays with a customer for too long costs money immediately. That is where you come in. You keep a close eye on the administration, analyze discrepancies and ensure that packaging is returned, booked or charged at the right time. You work a lot at your computer, but you must understand what happens outside the system. You have contact with various departments and, of course, also with customers. In addition, you are regularly at the production site to check inventory and coordinate matters.
