Key responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and multi-year financial plans for Social Domain programs.
- Deliver periodic management reporting, variance analyses, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support policy teams with financial impact assessments, business cases, and scenario analyses.
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness; improve financial processes and governance.
- Translate legislation, funding streams, and subsidy requirements into financial frameworks and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance, data, and operational teams to improve KPI structures and performance management.
Required skills and experience
- Proven experience in controlling, financial planning & analysis, or business control within government or the Social Domain.
- Strong analytical skills: budgeting, forecasting, cost/benefit analysis, and risk management.
- Ability to advise and challenge stakeholders with clear, structured communication.
- Knowledge of public-sector finance, funding models, and relevant regulations is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/financial systems and BI/reporting tools is an advantage.
