As Head of Engineering & Construction Underwriting at Allianz Commercial, you will hold full strategic and financial accountability for the Engineering & Construction line of business across Large Corporate and Mid Corporate segments - reporting directly to the Head of Underwriting Netherlands. This is a leadership role at the heart of one of the world's largest and most technically sophisticated commercial insurance operations, serving corporate clients across more than 200 countries and territories.
You will define the global Engineering & Construction strategy, lead a high-performing underwriting team, and position Allianz Commercial as the partner of choice for the world's most complex engineering and construction risks. A strong market presence in the Netherlands, with established broker and client relationships, is essential.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include
- Own the global strategy for the Engineering & Construction line of business, with full accountability for underwriting results, profitability, and portfolio performance across Large Corporate and Mid Corporate segments
- Define and execute a market-leading Engineering & Construction proposition that delivers profitable, sustainable growth
