As a Material Handler at our Venlo facility, you step into a high-stakes, precision driven environment where quality logistics directly supports global healthcare. You will manage the flow, verification, and staging of specialized temperature controlled containers from arrival to dispatch Logistiek Material Handler - dag dienst - Venlo - LBO , MBO , - €16,25 - €16,25 per uur - Fulltime , Your responsibilities - Equipment & Cargo Operations: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely unload, position, and load technical shipping containers.
- Quality & Damage Control: Inspect inbound and outbound containers for visual defects, flagging units for maintenance to guarantee cargo integrity.
- Cold Chain Execution: Work directly within climate controlled zones including deep-freeze areas down to -20°C adhering to pharmaceutical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Digital Inventory Control: Track every movement by entering precise status and location data into the warehouse management software.
- Site Compliance: Maintain strict Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards, execute routine inventory counts, and enforce health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Background in warehouse operations or material handling (pharma/cold-chain background is an great advantage).
- Active physical stamina (comfortable with walking, lifting, bending, and spending time in cold environments within the day)
- Valid forklift/EPT certification highly regarded.
- Proficient in professional English (both spoken and written).
- High sense of accountability, methodical mindset, and strong teamwork habits.
