Certified Electrode or MIG/MAG Welder Job Description As Certified Electrode or MIG/MAG Welder Tank Construction at Emtes Workforce you are responsible for the welding, assembling, and maintaining storage tanks and steel structures in the (petro)chemical, food and pharmaceutical industry . You deliver high-quality welding work according to applicable standards and work closely with other professionals on site.
What are your duties?
- Welding of steel structures and tanks with electrode or MIG/MAG welding processes .
- Performing welding activities according to technical drawings and welding procedures.
- Checking welded joints for quality and strength.
- Preparing materials and equipment for welding activities.
- Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
What is expected of you?
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrode or MIG/MAG welder.
- Valid welding certificates (e.g., ISO 9606-1 or similar) .
- Experience in the (petro)chemical, food or pharmaceutical sector is a plus.
- Able to technical drawings to read and work accurately.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to work nationally.
- Safety is paramount to you.
