Logo CinetolLogo Tolbar Production Intern 32 uur Stage Cinetol is a music venue, creative hub, and café. We organize around 250 concerts a year. Our stage hosts innovative bands and emerging artists. It is a place for new and alternative sounds, both local and international. Cinetol provides space for experimentation, niche music, and the many communities that make Amsterdam so vibrant. The rest of the building consists of various creative spaces that we rent out to cultural entrepreneurs, artists, and musicians. The face of our building is the Tolbar, a cozy living-room-style café with a large terrace on the Tolstraat.
Job Description
As a production intern, you will be supervised by Cinetol's production staff and head of production. It is important that you are able to work independently, are proactive, and have a structured approach.
Your responsibilities will include
- Carrying out production-related tasks for concerts and other (cultural) events at Cinetol, such as creating production forms for advancing and collecting technical information and riders.
- Providing the necessary information about a concert or other event to all involved parties (externally to artists, bookers, and concert organizers, as well as internally to technicians and other staff).
- When managing production during a concert, you are there to ensure everything runs smoothly from stage to backstage, from ticket sales at the door to welcoming the artists.
Job Requirements
- You have a demonstrable affinity with concerts and the music scene in Amsterdam.
- You are able to work independently and in a structured manner, and you are proactive.
- You are available three afternoons and evenings per week to manage production during concerts.
- You are available on Mondays during the day to work in the office. This is the day we meet with the entire team to evaluate the past week's productions and go over the upcoming weeks.
