Logo CinetolLogo Tolbar Marketing & Programming Intern 32 uur Stage Cinetol is a music venue, creative hub, and café. We organize around 250 concerts a year. Our stage hosts innovative bands and emerging artists. It is a place for new and alternative sounds, both local and international. Cinetol provides space for experimentation, niche music, and the many communities that make Amsterdam what it is. The rest of the building consists of various creative spaces that we rent out to cultural entrepreneurs, artists, and musicians. The face of our building is the Tolbar, a cozy living-room-style café with a large terrace on the Tolstraat.
Job Description
As a Marketing & Programming Intern , you will work closely with Cinetol's programmer and marketing lead. They will provide guidance, but it is important for this role that you are also able to work independently and in a structured manner. As a Marketing & Programming Intern , you will be part of a large portion of the lifecycle of a concert at Cinetol. You will be involved from the moment a booking request comes in and the show is programmed, through to the announcement and promotion of the show. This includes the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Filtering the many booking requests we receive
- Supporting the programmer in searching for and selecting opening acts
- Writing copy for acts and programs
- Announcing shows on various platforms
- Handling communication regarding shows with ticket buyers, booking agents, and artists
- Taking the lead on our biannual event, NEWBIES, which gives young bands the chance to perform on a professional stage for the first time Job Requirements
