About the Job In this role, you will be responsible to lead the commodity risk strategy and execution for Danone. Danone commodity exposure is several billion euros and fragmented (50+ commodities). You will report to the Finance Director of Milk and MRM and manage one commodity risk manager - Your key missions will notably include: Risk strategy and hedging recommendations - Partner with Market Intelligence team to analyse market trends and analyst view - Develop coverage recommendations to commodity risk and category teams - Formalize hedging recommendations to be proposed to global and executive risk committees Hedging expansion - Identify opportunities to change supplier contract terms (indexes & lags, etc.) to increase our financial hedging capability - Support procurement teams in changing contract terms Hedging execution - Manage relationships with banks and other financial counterparts - Negotiate financial hedging offers and place them in Treasury system - Coordinate physical hedges execution by procurement team - Explore hedging tools beyond OTC swaps and options Performance and reporting - Calculate and track commodity risk exposure; build relationships and commitment with stakeholders across the business to implement new risk management policies - Monitor commodity price coverage - Measure hedging performance and propose actions to correct su...
