Direct solliciteren Neem contact op Automatisch verbeterd voor betere leesbaarheid Policy & Privacy Specialist Role purpose: Lead and support privacy, data protection, and policy initiatives to ensure organizational compliance, reduce risk, and enable responsible data use across products, operations, and third parties.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, review, and maintain privacy policies, standards, and internal guidance aligned to applicable regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct and document privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and advise on privacy-by-design controls for new and existing initiatives.
- Manage data governance activities, including data mapping, records of processing, retention guidance, and data classification support.
- Partner with Legal, Security, Product, HR, and Procurement to assess privacy risks and implement mitigations.
- Support vendor and third-party privacy reviews, including contract/privacy addendum input and due diligence questionnaires.
- Assist with incident response for privacy-related events, including triage, documentation, and coordination of notifications where required.
- Deliver privacy training and awareness materials to improve compliance and operational adoption.
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong knowledge of privacy and data protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, or similar, as applicable).
- Experience with DPIAs/PIAs, data mapping, and privacy controls in cross-functional environments.
