Key responsibilities
- Direct and improve financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Deliver timely, accurate management reports and financial analyses for leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Manage cash flow, financial risk, and cost control to strengthen financial performance.
- Collaborate with department heads to translate strategic goals into financial plans and KPIs.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team; set priorities and monitor performance.
- Drive process improvements and implement/optimize financial systems and reporting tools.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management, controlling, or finance leadership.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, financial reporting, and governance.
- Experience with audits, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Advanced analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills; clear communication in a business context.
- Proficiency with ERP/finance systems and spreadsheet-based analysis.
