Your work at the press brake Experienced press brake operator, ready for an employer without night shifts? At Contour in Winterswijk you operate a CNC press brake on your own and make sheet metal parts for the high-tech industry: enclosures and parts for chip machines, medical equipment and logistics systems. You work in a clean, bright production hall with thin sheet metal, usually up to 3 mm thick, in steel, stainless steel and aluminum. You work on one of our eight CNC press brakes from Trumpf and Safan. Three robotic press brake cells also run. The programs come prepared offline from production engineering, with a setup sheet.
You load the program, select and mount the tooling and adjust the program where needed. You approve the first part yourself: angle and dimensions against the drawing, to a tenth of a millimeter. Then you run the series. The work is high-mix, low-volume: series from a few pieces to a few dozen. We make precision sheet metal parts: the tolerances are tight and we get everything out of the machine.
