What will you be doing? We are looking for a logistics assistant to join our team. As a warehouse assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks within the logistics process, including picking and packing orders, preparing consignments for dispatch, and loading and unloading lorries and containers using an EPT. Our products - large batteries - are fragile and must be packed and handled with care.
Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders according to picking lists.
- Preparing orders for dispatch, including completing the CMR documents.
- Registering consignments with our carrier.
- Loading and unloading lorries and containers using an EPT and a reach truck.
What do you bring to the role?
- You're a go-getter and you're willing to go the extra mile when needed.
- You live in the area of Ede (max. 50 km).
- You're physically fit and enjoy work done.
- You're keen to learn and develop your skills within the logistics sector.
- Experience in a warehouse is an advantage, but not essential.
- Experience with an EPT and/or reach truck is a major advantage. Has your certificate expired? If so, you can obtain a new one through us.
- You work accurately and remain calm under pressure.
- You enjoy working as part of a team and have a practical approach.
- You speak English well.
Dutch is an advantage.
