About this role
Industrial Automation Engineer For one of our clients, we are looking for Industrial Automation Engineers to ensure the reliability, security and continuous improvement of automation systems in a manufacturing environment. You will combine technical troubleshooting with system management, project oversight and collaboration with engineering teams and external suppliers.
Your responsibilities
- Manage industrial automation systems, safeguarding availability, performance, quality and cybersecurity.
- Review automation projects against technical requirements, engineering standards and validation protocols.
- Resolve operational issues and improve procedures and best practices.
- Lead root cause analyses to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Coordinate maintenance, change management and system lifecycle activities.
- Oversee external contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- Provide technical expertise for Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 automation systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and deliver automation training for colleagues.
Your profile
- Experience with industrial automation in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Understanding of automation infrastructure, cybersecurity and lifecycle management.
- Ability to assess technical requirements and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with technical teams and suppliers.
