Blokland Cold Stores B.V. is a full-service cold storage company based in Cuijk. We specialise in chilling, freezing, thawing and logistics services for our customers' products. Our company is growing and uses a wide range of technologies, so we are looking to strengthen our team. As a Hands-on Technical Team Leader, you will join our technical department and be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of our machinery.
What you will do
In this versatile troubleshooting and maintenance role:
- Coordinate and lead a small technical team;
- Carry out technical maintenance and repairs;
- Plan and prioritise maintenance work;
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations;
- Report progress and any issues to the site manager;
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency in the technical department;
- Schedule inspections;
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors.
Your profile
- A technical qualification at Dutch MBO/HBO level (vocational or higher professional education);
- Proven experience in a leadership role in technical maintenance;
- Excellent technical knowledge and skills;
- Knowledge of refrigeration technology (PSG13 ammonia) is an advantage;
- A proactive, hands-on approach;
- A solution-oriented mindset;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure;
- Leadership skills and good communication skills;
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside regular hours when needed;
- A good command of English, or a willingness to develop your skills.
