About this role
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse operations and ensuring that everything runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently. You will lead and support a team of warehouse employees, monitor daily performance, and make sure that tasks are completed correctly and according to company procedures.
- You will also work closely with supervisors, warehouse operators, temporary employment agencies, and transport partners.
- Your responsibilities include:- Following SOPs and safety procedures- Monitoring performance and reporting deviations to the Warehouse Supervisor- Supporting the team during busy periods- Participating in LEAN meetings and continuous improvement projects- Identifying process bottlenecks and suggesting improvements- Ensuring correct processing of goods and documentation- Motivating, coaching, and supporting your teamThis is a varied role combining hands-on warehouse work with coordination and team leadership.- MBO level of education or similar- 1–3 years of experience in logistics or warehouse work- Experience as a Warehouse or VAS Operator is a plus- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel- Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English- Good leadership and people skills- Flexible and willing to help where needed- Forklift, reach truck, clamp truck, and EPT certificates are a plus, or willingness to get them
