We are seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join our team.
Hours per week = 21
Working Pattern: Monday, Thursday and Friday 7.15-2.45 (including half an hour unpaid lunch break)
Main duties of the job
Job Summary:
Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the post-holder will be responsible for performing venepuncture to obtain blood samples from patients only as the result of a direct referral from a GP, Nurse practitioner or Practice Nurse.
Previous experience is essential.

We are a busy general practice located in the centre of Fareham. We have a team of three phlebotomists providing appointments across the week as well as having flexibility for cross cover during leave etc

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Previous experience of phlebotomy / venepuncture required.
Desirable
Experience working in Primary Care. Knowledge of EMIS.
