About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical care team. The successful candidate will provide direct, high-quality person-centered care and essential daily living support to residents/patients within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:•
Assist residents/patients with daily living activities, including mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and dietary requirements.•
Monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions, vital signs, or behavioral patterns to the supervising nursing staff.•
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable therapeutic environment in compliance with infection control and healthcare safety standards.•
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting independence and respecting individual dignity.•
Assist multi-disciplinary healthcare teams with clinical administrative duties, equipment preparation, and patient transport. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:•
Must hold a relevant QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Service Skills, Healthcare Support, or an equivalent international qualification. (Alternatively, the employer may sponsor a candidate who formally commits to completing this qualification within 2 years of the employment start date).•
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-collaboration skills.•
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights, as dictated by rotation schedules.
