Pay: €14.15-€17.15 per hourWe are currently recruiting a compassionate, reliable and professional Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and daily living activities.
- Assist with meals and hydration where required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow individual care plans and report any changes in a client's condition.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Follow infection prevention, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
- Treat all clients with dignity, respect and confidentiality.
- Work effectively with nurses, carers, families and other healthcare professionals.RequirementsQQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification, or equivalentPrevious experience in healthcare, elderly care, disability care or home care is preferredGood spoken and written English.
- Compassionate, patient and dependable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work [days / evenings / weekends / nights].Garda Vetting will be required.
