- What you'll doRespond to fire alarm activations, emergency line calls, incidents and medical emergencies, ensuring a rapid and effective first response.
- Carry out inspections, testing and readiness checks of emergency response vehicles, firefighting equipment, breathing apparatus and associated safety equipment.
- Attend accidents, emergency situations and permit-controlled activities, including welding and confined space entries, ensuring safe systems of work are followed.
- Complete incident reports, equipment records, shift handovers and documentation accurately while supporting site safety and emergency preparedness.
- What you'll bringEmergency Medical Technician (EMT) qualification and current registration with PHECC.Full clean driving licence and the ability to operate emergency response vehicles where required.
- Previous experience within an emergency response, firefighting, medical, safety or first responder environment.
- Strong communication, decision-making and organisational skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and take control during emergency situations.
