Duties will include fusing, joining, cutting, and repairing metal parts and structures.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Set up and operate welding equipment like MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
- Prepare and clean metal surfaces using grinders, saws, or plasma cutters.
- Weld components together in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Inspect finished welds for flaws, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Maintain and clean tools, machinery, and the workspace to keep a safe environment.
