Job Description
- We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Playgroup Leader to deliver and facilitate play opportunities for children in a safe and stimulating environment.
- The role involves supporting pre-school children in both structured and informal settings, promoting independence, confidence and social interaction.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise children’s games and encourage the development of physical, social and language skills;Provide play areas and prepare materials for a wide range of children’s activities;Encourage children’s independence, self-confidence and social interaction;Organise and supervise children on excursions;Organise and supervise activities in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, responding appropriately to injuries and emergencies;Put away equipment and clean premises after use;Liaise with parents, carers and colleagues, maintaining appropriate records.
- Requirements1–2 years’ experience in early childhood education or recreation roles is desirable;Leadership and organisational skills in managing groups of children;Passion for working with children, excellent communication and a positive attitudeAnnual Salary: € 37.544 annual - € 18.05 hoursHours per Week: 40Start Date: 04/01/2027Send CV Email: [email protected]
